Imaginative play is widely considered one of the most powerful tools with which children and young people can nurture their creativity, build their confidence and boost their problem-solving and communication skills.

At Mischief & Monsters, we believe this is true regardless of a person's age, whether they are an old soul or young at heart, or somewhere in between. We also believe that tabletop roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, are similarly powerful tools.

Play is one of the earliest ways in which human beings learn to express themselves, and storytelling represents the uniquely human ability to share in an idea; an imagined world or scenario. Through these behaviours, we have the ability to set joint goals and workshop solutions, skills which can have a hugely positive impact on both our personal and professional lives.

For decades, pen-and-paper roleplaying has seamlessly combined these two things, offering a framework within which players can learn and grow together. However, many people still do not know how to use this platform to such great effect. That's where we come in!

Mischief & Monsters uses a range of roleplaying systems and storytelling techniques to provide and facilitate imaginative play sessions for cross-generational groups, in the comfort of their own homes or chosen venues. We encourage innovation and risk-taking in a safe setting, and foster connectedness and teamwork through puzzles, planning and improvisation.
